In its seventh season, The Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation has had the most successful year ever, with a new Accessories category, a new judge added (Ken Downing of Neiman Marcus) and seven rising stars!
EDFF kicked off New York’s Fashion Week with an exclusive press-only breakfast at Barneys Fred’s Café to unveil the 2008 winners- Alexander Wang, Elise Overland, LYELL, REYES, WAYNE, Loden Dager (men’s wear) and Subversive Jewelry (accessories). Attended by The New York Times, Elle, Vogue, USA Today, WWD, EDFF judges and Ecco Domani executives, it was an intimate and exclusive affair which led to a fashion-filled week of EDFF runway shows.
To close another great fashion week and to celebrate the winners, EDFF hosted a stellar nightlife event at New York’s hottest new club, Suzie Wong’s, with spokesperson Mary Alice Stephenson of Harper’s Bazaar, celebrity guest Carmen Electra and 250 other fabulous fashionistas, press and tastemakers. With a live DJ spinning, scrumptious Asian-inspired hors d’oeuvres, a delectable signature winetail called the Ecco Modo (Pinot Grigio and cucumber) and a chic wine tote with a bottle of Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio as give-aways ─ EDFF was the talk of the town!!
